From Brasil we got this curious advertisements. I remember that here in Spain, Lada slogan was “the 1 million pessetas allroad car!” (one million pesetas is about 6.000 Euros).

Does anybody has more advertisements from other countries?

It’s amazing, but one of the countries more fanatic about Lada Niva is the USA. I say amazing because of the cold war and because in the USA there are Blazers, Fords, and all this stuff. So, what makes american people to buy this “cheap” and small 4×4 car if they have those really good and surprising Jeeps????

Maybe it is because in fact, they have the same average fuel consumption!

Just take a look to this page, with very interesting information about Lada in the USA.

Each one has its special places, one of mines is the valley of Liat. A small valley (about 10 Km long) in the border between Spain and France. A very difficult and technical 15 Km road brings you from the small town of Bagergue (the main location of our Lada) to the Liat lake. Near this lake there are many iron mines, 40 years ago, this was a very busy place, with lots of men getting iron from the mountains. Now, all you can find are old roofless houses waiting for the cold winter. And near the lake, a very old broken Land Rover tow. Of course, my Lada brought me there many times, and now I hope it will bringme at least, one more time!

This foto is taken last september near the Lake. In august this forgotten place is full of people with their fucking new SUV. In September, the Liat Valley remains without no one, just with its particular landscape, with the Mauberme peak touching the sky.

When I bought my car I thought I was buying just an especial car, I was no thinking in a Zodiac. Maybe Triton has a Lada Niva. Who knows …

While walking near our office I found these two more Ferraris. I think red is a perfect color for a Lada Niva, isn’t it?

Does anyone knows how many lada niva have been made?
